It has been a month since spring comes to town. Everyone is so excited! The sun finally shines brightly, flowers blossom everywhere and lots of activities sprung-up here and there in town. However, changing of season also means changing my skincare products.
Due to the change in weather, the BB Cream that I have used during winter is too oily. So I have decided to change my BB Cream. *I have oily-combination skin*
Today I am going to review Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++ (No. 21 Light Beige).
And these are the features of this BB Cream, by Missha:
This product comes in 2 sizes (50 ml and 20 ml tube). The 50 ml tube comes with a pump yayy!! I really love the pump as my BB cream won’t be all over the tip of the tube. As you can see from the photo, its texture is creamy and thick.
Well, let’s see how the result it. *I have red patches on my hand, and see whether the BB Cream could cover it*
Blended properly on my hand, this BB Cream gives me semi-matte finish. The colour seems a little bit too light for me when I applied, but it blended nicely with my skin colour after a while. It has quite good coverage (the red patches on my hand are less visible after the application). The texture is creamy and thick, but it is not tacky, and I don’t feel like applying cake on my face. Don’t apply too much to your face as this BB Cream has strong coverage and is quite creamy, unless you want your face to look cakey 😉
Overall, I am satisfied with this product as it lasts me for 7-8 hours, and it doesn’t cause acnes on my skin. Moreover, it could, at least, control the oiliness of my face especially in this season. I would still need to use oil control paper once or twice in a day, but that is not too bad.
Pros:
- High in SPF with UVA & UVB protection (SPF42 PA+++)
- Affordable price (± EUR18)
- Medium coverage for pores and acnes
- Semi-matte finish
- Colours blend in nicely with my skin
- Does not cause acne problems
- Could control the oiliness of my (oily) face
Cons:
- The perfume smell is a little bit strong
- No result in anti-aging for me (as per claimed by Missha)
- Might not be suitable for dry skin type
This is my review of the BB Cream. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this product and will continue to use it until I find something better 😉 Always remember to double-cleanse your face after any Sunscreen, BB Cream or Foundation application.
This is the review based on my skin type. So please be aware of your skin type as the results may differ on each skin 🙂

Hii thanks for reading my review. I have never used Maybelline BB cream before, so I am not sure how the product is. If you think after reading the review of Maybelline, the BB Cream is suitable for your skin, maybe it is worth it to try?
Try to compare the SPF as well. If it is more than 30, then it should be quite sufficient coverage for UV protection. But I would prefer it to be higher. Anyway, try the smallest bottle or sample, if possible, before deciding to invest in larger ones 😉
Sorry I can’t give exact answer of which to buy. I hope this will help 🙂
