5 Reasons Your Skin Loves Exfoliation

Without a doubt, your skin needs proper cleansing, especially after all-day-make-up. Double-cleansing would be a better choice to make sure all of the residues are cleaned properly. Read about the skincare routine and double-cleansing here.

On top of cleansing, your skin LOVESSS to be exfoliated! The oldest dead skin-cells that cling on to the skin outermost surface need to be removed in order to achieve healthier and brighter skin.

So… What is so important about skin exfoliation? Is it worth the time and effort?

  1. Help Skincare Absorbs Better & For A Smoother Make-Up

You may buy the most expensive skincare products hoping for the best result to show on your skin. But without exfoliating regularly, you are simply applying those expensive products to the dead-skin. Make sure your skin is at its best condition to be able to absorb the necessary products. The healthier the skin, the better the application of make-up / foundation on your face.

  1. Smoother & Brighter Skin

Exfoliating dead-skin speeds up the skin-renewal process. The deepest layer of the skin (dermis) contains living cells, which are smooth and radiant. This process turns your skin from dull to bright, vibrant and smooth.

  1. Clear Acne & Breakouts

When dead skin-cells clog-up the pores, oils from the skin could get trapped beneath the surface, causing pimples. With exfoliation, pores will be cleaned and unclogged, which reduces the possibility of breakouts.

  1. Slower the Sign of Aging

Dead and dull-skins often contribute to faster aging process (fine lines and wrinkles). As people age, the skin will naturally be less elastic and skin-renewal process will be slower. Exfoliation will help accelerate the skin-renewal process, makes the skin healthier and brighter.

  1. Reduce Large Pores

Exfoliating not only removes dead-skins, but also removes the dirt stuck inside the pore. When pores are clogged, they appear larger. Make sure to exfoliate consistently to help reduce the size of pores, and obtain healthier skin.

Well… with all the reasons above, Exfoliation is a MUST if you would like to have a healthier, brighter skin. With a little extra effort, you will be able to achieve an excellent result, so why not??? ❤

    1. Great Amelia 😉 I used St. Ives too and I love it. But lately my skin became more sensitive, so I changed to Clarisonic (for sensitive brush) and Korean Innisfree Pore Clay Mask.
